How To Create A Blog?
Step 1: Create an Account
Ø
Create a Gmail account. If you have a Gmail
account you are automatically eligible to sign up for a Blogger account. If you
do not have a Google account, log onto www.gmail.com
.

Log onto Blogger.com
Ø
This will take you to a page that reads “ Create
a blog”
Step 2: Sign In
Ø
Sign in with your account. Enter your Gmail
account information.
Ø
This should automatically bring you to your
Dashboard and ask you to “CREATE YOUR BLOG NOW.” Click on this link and begin
to create your blog.
Step 3: Create your Blog
Ø
Once you have clicked on “Create your blog now”
blogger will prompt you to create a title for your blog. You may want to take some time to think about
your title. Students will see this title once they logon to your blog.
Ø
The Next Step is to create a blog address. This
is the address your students will use to access the blog. Blogger will ask you
to provide the information and prepare you with a http:// _____________________.blogspot.com
. This is the address you will share with your class.
Ø
Click on check availability. If the address is
available, eblogger will ask you to continue.
Step 4 : Design
Ø
Choose a starter template
Ø
Click continue
Ø
You should receive a message telling you “Your
blog has been created.”
Ø
Start Blogging
Blogger is just one of the many “easy
to use” blogging tools on the Internet. Other
blogging tools include, WordPress and Tumblr.
