Susan A. Candia

Professor Susan A. Candia studied Journalism with a concentration in Broadcasting and Political Science at Northeastern University and Boston University. She earned a B.A. and M.S. from Long Island University – C.W. Post College in English and English Education with a minor in Art. She is a part time adjunct Professor of English at Farmingdale State College since 2008 where she continues to enjoy teaching writing, literature and public speaking. Her past experience as a website developer and writer, demonstrated English teacher, student adviser, honors student and skilled manager and marketer have all helped her to be articulate, creative, motivated and focused in her collegiate classrooms. Her current passion is incorporating the use of technology into the literature classroom.
